Savannah's not feeling well today. She woke up with a nasty cough and is congested. I feel so bad she has only drank one cup of juice and had three bites of her breakfast. She is down for her second nap already and I hope she will not be worse tomorrow than she is today. But I do love how cuddly she is when she's sick. It's nice to have my baby back for a little while at least.
Sure doesn't feel like 54 degrees to me today. I look outside and it's gray and soggy. I just feel like staying in my PJ's all day and dragging my blankie around like Savannah does. So I am! When's the last time I did that? I'm allowed every so often, and for no reason at all.
Hope you all are having a sunnier Saturday than I am.

We had a forecast of 60 degrees here in Colorado so decided to hit the trails and go hiking this morning. And then the wind picked up, followed by patches of rain and snow. Made for a memorable hike with the kids. :-)
Oh, boy, can I relate. Poor Savannah, and poor you - I think you have the right idea. Both of you need to cuddle up in a warm blankie and drink plenty of fluids.
I do have to say I'm glad I dragged my sorry self to the gym; it did feel good to sweat and work myself to exhaustion, so that I could come home and enjoy dinner (cooked by my husband), and later take a nice hot bath and do my nails, THEN curl up under my blankie and drop into a deep sleep.
NaNo wha--? Oh, crud. Yeah, there's that, too.
If it weren't (ahem) that time of the month, I'd be confident in saying I've lost 22 lbs. Right now, though, it's more like 18 or 19. And maybe I'm growing muscle - I mean, how the heck do you go to the gym, burn off more calories than you took in, and GAIN two pounds?? G-d, I love being a woman... (most days, I really do - today, I'm feeling just a tad bit sarcastic about it).
Sorry to hear the little Tater Tot isn't feeling good- seems the cold & flu season started awfully early. I can't believe poor Michael broke his foot! But you're right- its good for sympathy points with the girls ;)
In answer to your question, I've attended Assembly of God churches for over 24 years (the current one for 12 yrs), but we really don't pound any denominational drums- we just share Christ as Savior, the Bible as the Word of God, & showing love by serving others. I have friends that are LDS, a couple Jehovah's Witness', & several Catholics; for the most part, I really don't think the "church" you attend matters- all these people love & serve the Lord. You need to be where you are loved, challenged & have a place to serve. If you want to talk about more, drop me an email megswcttracy@hotmail.com Hugs & Prayers
I hope that Savannah is feeling better soon. I wonder if the weather changing as quickly as it has is going to hit a lot of people hard. Mitch and I got our flu shots this week. It is the first time I have ever had one. It has been pouring buckets here for almost a week and they are saying almost another week of this. I swear I am going to need webbed feet to get around. Right now I can't drive anyway with my eye issue, but that is ok, I don't like driving in this weather. And on the church issue, to me church isn't the denomination or the congregation, it is how you are made to feel. If you feel loved and welcomed and accepted, then that is where you should make your spiritual home.
Hugs,
Becca
You switched over to blogger! Do you like it better? I am sorry I have not been around much. I am slowly getting a little better.
I hope Savannah is feeling better-I know this sounds awful too but I love it when my kids are sick and they need me! I don't like for them to be sick but if they are then hey mom gets some extra snuggle time too!:)
Glad to hear you had a nice Halloween. It is so much fun when the kids are little.
Have a great week!~Missy
Hope your little one is feeling better by now!
