Has it really been that long since I posted last?
A lot has gone on and I've been busy. Obviously.
Last week our house was broke into and we were robbed. The kid didn't get away with much but it just bugs me that someone has the nerve to do that. Luckily we only have a $250 insurance deductible so our window and $100 of the cash that was stolen will be replaced. I never realized I would appreciate homeowners insurance. Having them take care of the window and my not having to even see the bill or wait for a reimbursement helps me to forget about a lot of the anger away from the event and is helping me to move on.
My nephew is back from an LDS mission. While I'm not LDS, I do feel the time kids spend out on their own really makes them grow and decide what they want to do for the rest of their life so I am proud that he went and look forward to hearing his experience. Peter's presence back home is already noticed and I didn't realize how quiet it was without him around.
Jacob has moved to the farm...literally. He is working two jobs for his uncles, one on the farm and the other for marketing. I am not sure of all the details. He is so busy all the time.
I have been given a promotion at work. No money but the title increase is just as satisfying, after all I have been with them for 9 years.
Savannah was sick last night. Not sure what it was, but I am fearing it had to do with a migraine headache. If it had been a stomach bug it would have lasted longer than a half a day. Charlie had these when he was young, pretty severe. I pray that she does not take after him.
We are refinancing our home to a 15 year loan. We hope to get the fixed rat or 4.5% but with the market the way it is our home appraisal will depend on this. Either way I love the idea of a 15 year loan!
It's been raining here. A lot. I have been enjoying it. Weird. I don't know why. Usually it depresses me, but thus far I have enjoyed it. And just this morning I noticed a fire on the mountain west of our house...but how could this be with all the rain?

Tammy, I'm so sorry to hear about the break-in at your house. I'm sure that definitely put you on edge about everything else. Thank goodness for homeowner's insurance. It's one of those things you never want to have to use, but you're glad that it's there for when you need it!
